How MakeFit handles personal data

This policy covers the marketing site at makef.it, the Body Age quiz at app.makef.it, and related purchase, support, and email flows operated by Cronian Labs.

What we collect

Marketing site

When you visit makef.it, we may process basic technical data such as IP address, browser information, referral URL, and query parameters like campaign tags or referral codes.

Body Age quiz

When you start the quiz, we process the answers you submit, your email address if you choose email, referral codes, and attribution parameters such as UTM values.

Account and purchase data

If you sign in with Apple or purchase a subscription, we process your Apple account identifier, contact details, selected plan, payment status, and related support or transaction records.

Health data

The MakeFit iPhone app is designed to process Apple Health and Apple Watch data on your device. The app experience is built around on-device analysis, and health metrics are not uploaded by the landing page or quiz flow described in this policy.

Why we use this data

We use personal data to operate the quiz, attribute inbound campaigns, send requested emails, complete sign-in and purchases, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain the security and reliability of the service.

Analytics and consent

The quiz site may use analytics to understand which campaigns and screens lead to quiz starts, email submissions, and purchases. For users on the web quiz, non-essential analytics are gated behind an explicit consent choice.

You can accept or reject analytics from the banner shown on app.makef.it. If you reject analytics, the web quiz should continue to function without loading non-essential tracking. You can change your choice later by clearing the site cookie and refreshing the page, or by contacting us.

Payments and processors

Subscription checkout is processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Stripe processes payment information according to its own privacy and security obligations.

Retention

We keep lead, sign-in, attribution, and subscription records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes above, including support, accounting, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and service operation. Retention periods may vary depending on whether you only start the quiz, submit an email, or become a paying subscriber.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export your personal data, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To exercise a request, email support@makef.it.

International transfers and updates

Some vendors or infrastructure providers may process data outside your country. When that happens, we rely on the contractual and technical safeguards available to us. We may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or vendors change, and we will post the latest version here.
